Description

Inspired by Hollow Knight, The Legend of Zelda, and Princess Mononoke, Other Half is a Metroidvania where a young Shaman called “Vesper” must reach his planet’s heart to cleanse it from a blight that threatens to destroy the world. However, after a near-death encounter with a beast, Vesper becomes a cyborg, where half of his body is replaced by a robot entity called “N30” (Neo), who needs to reach the planet’s core to save their kind.

With Vesper’s movement and N30’s combat, the two must work together in controlling one body in order to reach the planet’s heart. As they venture forth, they will discover new abilities to help them along their journey as well as uncover the secret history of this world they call “home”.

This project was made for the Digital Game Development Master's Program at the University of Aveiro.
